President's Message

Dear Virginia Association for Pupil Transportation Member:

The fact that you are reading this message shows your interest in an organization that is dedicated to serving the transportation needs of children in the Commonwealth of Virginia. VAPT has been in existence for approximately 30 years and each year it grows in size and importance in the transportation community. Over the years we have been most fortunate to be supported by the members and the many vendors who help keep the buses moving. In order for VAPT to continue to grow and offer representation and the opportunity to gather at the yearly conference, we need people to help lead the organization.

If you are a member of VAPT, please consider volunteering to help with Resolutions, Position Papers, Membership, Conference Planning, Poster Contest, Shirt Sales, Scholarship or any of our other committees. If you know someone who is in transportation, but not a member, ask them to join. We are a great organization, but we can become bigger and stronger with your help.
