The 2008 VAPT Conference and Trade Show will be held in Virginia Beach on June 16 - 19, 2008.  We are excited about the location, especially since so many of you wanted to return to the Beach.  All conference sessions and our trade show will be held at the Virginia Beach Conference and Convention Center.  We will be using two hotels this year - the Doubletree, which is located adjacent to the conference center and the Wyndham (old Ramada), which is located on 57^th street at the Oceanfront, several miles away.  The room rates are the same, $159 per night plus taxes – estimated to total $181 per night.  During the conference hours, a shuttle bus will run between the Wyndham and the conference center.  Both hotels have extended the conference room rates for those making a vacation of it – the Doubletree, 2 days before and after and the Wyndham, 3 days before and after.

March 1 has been set as the date where the hotels will start accepting reservations. Those arrangements will be made directly with your hotel of choice (details provided later).  Conference registration will again be on-line through NAPT. 

In making your reservations, please be as exact as possible on your room needs so as not to overbook.  Should you book rooms that you later learn you will not need, please notify David Pace  directly versus the hotel.
